Terms of Service

Last updated: February 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Engammo platform, including our website, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Engammo is operated by Gorilli ("we", "us", or "our"). If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at [email protected].

1. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by authenticating through GitHub. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Use of the Service

Engammo provides AI-powered release note generation from GitHub pull request data. You may use the Service in accordance with these Terms and any applicable usage limits associated with your subscription plan.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond the provided APIs
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with third parties
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent

3. Subscription and Billing

The Service is available under multiple subscription plans, including a free tier. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

We may change our pricing at any time. Price changes for existing subscribers will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, and we will notify you at least 30 days in advance.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you provide to the Service, including your GitHub repository data and any content you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership over your data.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your GitHub pull request data (titles, descriptions, labels, diffs, and commit messages) for the purpose of generating release notes. This license is limited to what is necessary to provide the Service.

We process pull request diffs in memory and do not persist your source code. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect and how we handle it.

5. AI-Generated Content

Release notes generated by the Service are created using artificial intelligence based on your pull request data. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before publishing or distributing it.

You own the release notes generated by the Service from your data. We do not use your generated content to train our models or share it with other users.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Gorilli and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.

7. Availability and Support

We aim to provide high availability for the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance when possible.

Support is provided according to your subscription plan. Free plan users receive community support. Paid plan users receive email support with response times defined by their plan level.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gorilli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription through the dashboard or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted. You may request data export before termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.
